So you want to find a real thin IWB holster, right? Well, you’re in luck. Today, we’ve gathered 4 of the thinnest holsters we could find for you. The caveat is that to make this list the holsters needed to be thin but also supportive and well-made. They need to conceal easily and be comfortable enough to be carried daily. So without further digression . . .

Here are our recommendations for the 4 thinnest IWB holsters on the market:

Blade Tech Klipt Thin IWB Holster

Blade Tech started with a simple idea. Make a good holster that’s comfortable to wear and invisible when concealed. They certainly succeeded with that vision with the Klipt holster. This appended style IWB holster is made entirely from a polymer material. The use of polymer allows them to produce a thin but durable holster. The Klipt is a simple design that features a single polymer belt clip for easy on and easy off capability. (The product link above takes you to 4 different gun models: the Ruger LCR, Glocks 26 and 42, and the Sig 938.)

The Klipt utilizes a passive safety system that provides audible feedback when you holster the weapon. You’ll hear a click each and every time you holster the weapon. That lets you know it’s not going anywhere until you pull it. The Klipt is somewhat unique in the fact there are even options for snub-nose revolvers. It’s rare to find a modern holster for the wheelgun aficionado.

The Blade Tech Klipt is precision molded for each and every firearm. This results in positive retention while being carried. The Klipt’s thin nature makes it comfortable for both women and men and allows it to work with modern fashion trends. The Blade Tech Klipt is an affordable holster as well and is backed by a premier holster company. If you want supermodel thin, modern, and robust, look no further.

CYA Supply Thin IWB Holster

I can’t be too sure what CYA stands for but I’m going to assume its “Cover your A$$” and by that they mean carry a gun. CYA is a veteran-owned company that aims to give a thin and comfortable means to pack a gun in the appendix position. The holster uses a material known as Boltaron. This material is super thin, lightweight, and boy is it strong. The material is only .08 inches thick. It’s not uncommon for people to underestimate these holsters because of how lightweight and thin they are.

CYA fabricates these holsters for increased retention (see full specs) and a perfect fit every time. They make a holster for nearly every popular small to moderate sized semi-automatic handgun. The CYA Supply holster uses a large single clip with adjustable cant. This lets you fine-tune the holster for even more comfortable carry. The design screams appendix carry, but with the adjustable cant, you could carry strong-side comfortably and securely.

The design does incorporate passive retention, and secure snap feature for positive firearm retention each and every time you holster your gun. The holster is comfortable enough you’ll never leave home without it. Cover your you know what in comfort with the CYA Supply IWB holster. This is, hands down, one of the best and thinnest IWB holsters around.

Bravo Concealment DOS Holster

The Bravo Concealment brand was one of the first real high-quality modern CCW holster shops. They’ve been putting out excellent gear and innovating in the holster world forever. The DOS holster is no different. It’s designed to be the most concealable holster on the planet. The DOS is made of rigid kydex but is ultra thin. The system also feature two customizable belt clips. If you only want to carry with a single clip then you can remove the second. (The product link takes you over a dozen options for your particular handgun model.)

DOS stands for Drop Out of Sight, and this holster truly does that. It disappears under a shirt and pair of pants. This thin holster allows you to carry with minimal clothing required and gives you a great option for summer carry. The DOS is made for a wide variety of different guns and the price point is really hard to beat.

The Bravo Concealment DOS holster is an outstanding option for day to day carry. It will allow you an easy draw and an easy reholstering. This system can be carried strong side or appendix with ease and comfort due to its modularity. With Bravo Concealment you can carry with comfort and in style, as long as that style is invisible.

Q Series IWB Minimalist

The Q series is by far the smallest and thinnest IWB holster on this list. If you want minimal holster size then the Q Series is for you. This polymer holster fits around the trigger guard of the weapon and that is it. This is an extremely small holster and is perfect for those folks who desire the thinnest possible profile. (The product link takes you to non-Glock models too: Sig Sauers, Smith & Wesson Shields, etc.)

The Q series incorporates a Miniclip (see full specs) built on the trigger to secure the weapon to either your belt or pants. With this holster a belt is optional, and the small size means it’s lighter in weight so there is a noticeably less bulk when the gun is concealed and holstered. The Q Series certainly isn’t for everyone, but for those looking for the thinnest lightest holster imaginable the Q Series fits the bill. The downsides are the fact there is nothing between you and the gun. Some folks may not like this, but if you want thin, you can’t get thinner than essentially zero.

Q Series STEALTH Introduction

The F.I.X. Trigger Guard

If you are going to carry handguns with light triggers (Glock, M&P Shield), I’d suggest possibly purchasing the F.I.X. trigger guard (see various models here). This covers the trigger of your weapon and prevents it from accidentally circumcising yourself. This small device is tied to your pants and when you draw the trigger guard will be pulled off automatically. It’s a cheap and very thin and unobtrusive way to stay safe while carrying in deep concealment.

Like a Supermodel

The thinnest IWB holsters can make carrying concealed an absolute dream. The good news is there are plenty of options out there for any type of IWB carry. The above 4 IWB holster are razor thin, and perfect for deep and low profile carry. Good luck!
