I have a Win mod 70 375 H&H that on a whim I took a Leupold off and put BSA 3-9 on because it was guaranteed to be shock proof. In it’s early life the rifle destroyed a Weaver K3 (“tested with 10000 .375 simulated shocks”) and a new Tasco (free gift). My intent was to show the retailer it was not shock proof and get my money back. I spent multiple times the money spent on the scope for reloading supplies trying to prove my point before finally giving up. That was over 20 yrs ago. It’s still on the rifle, it still holds zero, tracks nicely between 270 gr and 300 gr loads, and when I do my part, keeps shots in 1-2 moa. The glass is mediocre at best but certainly adequate for hunting shots to 300 yds.
