We’ve done some homework for you and if you’re interested in the best BSA scopes we’ve gathered four in their own categories. This includes a scope for plinking, target shooting, hunting, and tactical applications. Check our reviews out and see if you agree!

When you think plinking you think .22 LR. It’s a natural associated for most shooters. The .22 LR is a cheap, light recoiling, a relatively quiet round that is easy and fun to shoot. So it makes sense someone would design an optic based around the .22. The BSA Sweet series of .22 and .17 scopes are popular and for good reason. They are a simple, fun, and an effective means of hitting soda cans.

The Sweet 22 features a bullet drop compensator that shows you where the round is going to hit at a variety of ranges. This allows you to easily compensate for distance when plinking. The Sweet 22 also features crystal clear glass that gives you a clear view of your target regardless of how much or how little sun is available.

The Sweet 22 comes with an interchangeable turret system for 36, 38, and 40-grain projectiles. This allows quick and easy customization for your chosen 22 round. Even though the scope is only made for plinking it is water, fog, and shockproof. The scope features hand adjustable turrets that make it tool less to zero the optic. The Sweet 22 even features resettable turrets, pretty impressive for a scope designed for plinking, and it’s priced right as well.

The BSA 3-9×40 represents one of the most popular configurations available for rifle scopes. The 3 to 9 power magnification range ensures you have both close and long range shooting capability. The 40mm is another great option for nearly any rifle because it’s small enough to use low mounts and large enough to really suck in light. You get a nice clear and consistent picture with the BSA rifle scope. It’s incredibly simple, but reliable and dependable.

The 3 to 9 power configuration has long been used for hunting and this BSA scope is a hunter’s dream. The simple 30/30 duplex reticle is easy to use and doesn’t crowd your sight picture with anything that’s not needed. The scope uses ¼ MOA adjustments which are a bit big but make sighting in easy. ¼ MOA adjustments are definitely better suited for hunting than precision shooting.

The BSA 3-9x scope is water, shock, and fog proof and has fully coated optics. The scope has a longer than average eye relief and this allows room for shooting powerful recoiling calibers. The BSA 3-9x is the scope for hunters around North America.

The BSA brand encompasses a lot of different optics, and one of the most affordable and versatile is the BSA red dot. The BSA red dot is a full-sized red dot with a 30mm objective lens and a large 5 MOA red dot. A dot this size makes this optic versatile for a variety of guns, but on rifles like the AR 15 its perfect for close to moderate range engagements. The BSA Red Dot incorporates a built-in sunshade that reduces glare and helps the telltale glare that gives your position away. The BSA red dot is a robust little fella that delivers quick and precise shots.

It’s well suited for multiple target engagements and allows you to swiftly move between targets. Red dots are excellent for close-quarters use, especially when you need more speed than precision. The BSA red dot is also a good tool for hunters shooting at moderate ranges. The optic is great for brushing hunting and allows you to get on target right quick and even gives you the ability to strike multiple targets relatively quickly.

The BSA Red Dot has 11 brightness settings and works off a single dial on top of the optic. The red dot also has a built-in low mount and will attach to any standard Picatinny rail. The red dot is clear and bright and very crisp for an optic at this price range. It’s an excellent beginner red dot and it is backed with a 1-year warranty. Needless to say, it’s among the best BSA scopes period.

Pistol scopes are slightly unusual but are common on hunting handguns and handguns designed for extreme marksmanship. The BSA 2×20 pistol scope is well suited for either role. This short and light pistol scope gives you an increased level of magnification that is still easy to use from the offhand position. Pistol scopes are tricky. If you have too much magnification ever little shake and every vibration is going to make it hard to keep the optic aligned and on target.

A 2x level of magnification ensures everything is easy to use, while still offering an enhanced level of magnification. This lower level of magnification ensures you can take standing offhand shots with easy accuracy. It also keeps the scope short and simple. It delivers a crisp view of your target through a set of crystal clear lenses. This optic uses a thin and simple crosshair that allows you to see your target without issue while aiming.

After the optic is zeroed you’ll find it easier to shoot smaller targets at longer ranges before you know it. This optic offers enough eye relief for you to shoot at full extensions that is the only way you’ll get a full view of your target. The BSA pistol scope is perfect on small bore pistols with Picatinny rails. Weapons like the Ruger MK series, or S&W Victory series are perfect for this optic.

BSA

Let’s not get too complicated: BSA is a simple company that makes affordable optics that serve a purpose. The BSA lines of optics are impressive for their price point and can often satisfy the desire for a more expensive optic. In you’re new to optics, this company is an excellent place to get your feet wet, and the above qualify as the best BSA scopes you can find. Good luck!
